  Food well past the expiration date lines the shelves. The freezer, upon my visit, had ice cream bars that appear to have been melted for quite a while, frozen solid to the shelving by their dripping contents. Nothing about this establishment appears safe, let alone sanitary. The ownership is negligent to the point of disgusting. There is only so much employees can do for the good of the establishment when ordered by the ownership not to throw away expired or clearly damaged goods; a conversation I overheard myself. Avoid this place like the plague. There are plenty of other gas stations all along Rt.2, and it would certainly be worth driving an extra couple miles to get to one. And if you absolutely must stop here for one reason or another, do NOT eat anything!
